TipTop, arises from the ashes, sort of…
9th December, 2008 | 85 viewsDoing things in a half-arsed fashion is something I’m expert at and that’s exactly what you get at the moment if you visit TipTopMusic; roughly about half of a website with half of the links working and half of the content up. It’s ongoing, much like the construction of that church in Barcelona but most of the mixes from TipTop’s earlier incarnation, by myself, ck, keith and pking, are back up online and available for download if you didn’t get them in 2004/5. It means temporarily devoting less time here until it’s done but should still be able to keep feeding the UQ archive, stay hungry!

Nice, even though I already have all pinky mixes. But what happened with your deeprhythms mix? Is it coming online soon?

Ah yes, thanks – the deeprhythms mix – Timo is awaiting my final draft and err, well I’ve been a bit busy so unable to complete it; then I get a few more new deep house releases which I want to get in the mix, which was already fairly long. It was gonna be called “2008 – So Far So Deep” but by the time it goes up on deeprhythms, a more accurate title would be “2008 – A Deep Retrospective” or something similar. I did also want to get TipTop kind of up and running before the mix went up on deeprhythms, so any traffic coming from there had something to see. Once the craziness of Xmas/NYE is out of the way, I’ll have more opportunity.

cheers, hoping for a re-incarnation of old skool deep (the_one_with_the_marshall_jf_aka_underground_repairs).
