As played by Dave Lee in his excellent disco mix (see this post) where it’s just one of quite a few tracks that are sought after and expensive to acquire. A few too many plays of the mix and I cracked, hearing that track on there just didn’t cut the mustard and I had to get my own copy. Internet search engines were abused with repeated search enquiries and copies put up for sale on eBay were observed for months to see what it would take to emerge as a victor in any bidding frenzy and I managed to acquire a copy for a reasonable sum. A combination of emotional vocals, strings and because Gibbons holds back on bringing the bass into the mix, gives it such a delicious sense of anticipation. There is apparently a very limited acetate pressing in existence in which there is an even longer (14+ minute) mix by Gibbons which I would love to have the opportunity of even just hearing let alone acquiring.
